I am fascinated by your research, especially on British born jazz musicians. I am an MA public history student at Royal Holloway University of London, and I am making a radio programme (not broadcast, but assessed)about 100 years of jazz. My main question will be, what would the 20th Century have been without it? I would like to include something about how jazz developed in Britain and the musicians that pioneered it.
Dear Jeffrey,
I am fascinated by your research, especially on British born jazz musicians. I am an MA public history student at Royal Holloway University of London, and I am making a radio programme (not broadcast, but assessed)about 100 years of jazz. My main question will be, what would the 20th Century have been without it? I would like to include something about how jazz developed in Britain and the musicians that pioneered it.
Would you be interested in getting involved?
Best wishes,
Annie
